SABRE have worked closely with Tūhoe on this project right from the start being engaged in 2018 to undertake geotechnical test holes prior to the design of the village.

SABRE worked with Tūhoe and their consultants to best value engineer the project prior to any work commencing.

In early 2021 SABRE started the civil construction portion of this project. A geotechnically challenging site due to the high water table meant that environmental controls such as de-watering were constant. SABRE employ local Tūhoe community members and enjoy a close relationship with iwi representatives. SABRE Residential and Commercial are now building the village.
